I use the bumpy side on potatoes and carrots and the softer side on my stainless pans. Nothing gets scratched and the suction cup handle sticks right to the sink edge so it's always at hand. One of those small kitchen tools that quietly earns its spot.

Dual sides genuinely work for different jobs. It dries fast and doesn't get funky. The suction cup could be stickier, but I just keep it in the drawer.
