The compartments keep the strawberries from touching the sandwich, which apparently matters a lot to a second grader. The ice packs slide flat under the box and still feel cold at pickup time. The zipper on the bag feels sturdy and the print hasn't faded after weeks of daily use and dishwasher runs on the tray.

Everything works well and my son actually gets excited about packing his lunch now. The only small gripe is the bag zipper takes some muscle for little hands. He's getting better at it though.

Bought this for my grandson's first grade year and my daughter-in-law says it's the nicest lunch box he's had. The compartments are the right size for small portions and nothing leaks between sections. Good quality for the money.

The box and bag are nice quality and the ice packs are handy. My four-year-old can't open the latches by herself yet, so keep that in mind for younger kids.

Popped the inner tray on the top rack expecting the print to peel and it came out perfect. Four ice packs means one set is always frozen and ready. Great value.

Quality seems fine but the compartments are too small for my son's appetite in middle school. I wish the listing showed measurements more clearly. It's probably great for younger kids.
